Is this all that can be made?

Yeah theres the paltry sum of mods on the nexus, i have thoes of course, then theres the workshop, its just cheat planets, translations to russian, and a few Meh Scenarios. wheres all the New structure mods? bug fix mods, AI improvements, maybe a new landing ship model, texture packs, planet skins, new Colonist models. maybe some new gameplay mods?, where's all those mods? like, how old is this game? why isn't there any cool mods for this game? :(

Don't know. But on the bright side they are making a new game based on this one so maybe at least some of your wishes will come true.

No. And I came to find out that the next game just uses the same mechanics. So while it might not be "Planetbase 2" I will be similar in how the game works; who knows, maybe it will be "Planetbase 2". Just saying be prepared for a slight dissapointment if its not.

Freasabird, the devs only planned a small game. They consider it a finished product and probably won't be adding anything new, although they do still check in to see if there's any support issues. Also, check the discussions; there is a thread about a new modding framework that a player created.

If you want to try a similar, but more expansive game, try Aven Colony.
