Not happy now
I downloaded and launched Kzentar from the workshop so I could get the Achievement for being part of the community.

Now my campaign maps will not work properly.

Specifically the Frostling campaign "Resurrection" now takes way too long to research skills ( 15 turns or more.. 150 for greater disjunction... instead of the earlier 5 to 10). Also my troop production will not show the yetis even after I have the building done and have the correct shrine/dungeon inside town perimeter. Before I did the workshop map the Frostling campaign was winnable and now I cant get past the three town setups before I get wiped out by huge armies from Firic or Fjorn. When I look at the stats I see my progress line is way below the others and it was not this way before.

I have unsubscribed to the workshop maps. I uninstalled local content. I reinstalled the game and verified files. But still the research and Yetis are messed up.

How can I fix this? Please help me.

Even my random maps have become extremely long on the research. I changed the game speed to very fast and still got 15 to 20 turns to research the first casting points.:steamsad:

Hi unicorn,

You can disable mods in the AoW3 Launcher under the 'User Content' tab. Uncheck a mod there and it shouldn't effect your game any longer.

Btw, the mod you downloaded has to be played with a specific map, Kzentar The Lost Chapters. You can access it through the "community tab" when choosing a map. It's the best map ever :D

Dude, you know that people's games will be affected by this. Why on earth don't you have a disclaimer on your mod page about this ?

shush ?

Dude, it's common decency to tell people to disable the mod when not playing your scenario....this topic's existence proves it.

I do wish I had known that the map plus mods would affect my games. But I am glad to know that I can disable the map now. I was quite frustrated for awhile but I did learn something new at least.

Thanks for all the help.
