Any fast-forward workshop items?

I know that you can skip to the end of the day, but I would really like a way to just fast forward a few hours or so. I sometimes have all of my characters sleeping at once but want to finish things in the shelter once they've eliminated the "tired" status. It's boring just sitting there watching them sleep. Is there any way to do this?

Only the devs could add a fast-forward button. In the meantime, you can use Cheat Engine's speedhack. It works well for almost every game and you can set up an hotkey to speed up the game when needed.

In Main Config it has value under term ''SkipHoursOnEndDay''. The default is 2 but no matter what number you alter it won't change the effect in game. You always skip the whole day.

I am surprised this isn't something that is implemented somewhere somehow. A mod, or by devs.

Even simple x2 or even up to x3, would make a lot of sense.
