Closer to a fullscreen fix (imo)
I figured to post this here to the Workshop forum for the computer savvy proper to test out my speculations:

So windowed mode was bugging me pretty badly with KOTOR 2, but I found a quasi-solution with the autohotkey program. The script command " WinSet, Style, -0xC00000, A " will actually remove the gray title bar above the game, and solved the issue of the 5 or so pixels getting cut off at the top and the bottom. This is the absolute extent of my technical capabilities.

The reason I say it's closer to a fix, though, is due to something odd I noticed when the script command is executed. When I press the hotkey to alter the title bar away, the, umm, on screen buttons no longer align with the mouse position (there are off by nearly 20 pixels it looks like). They can still be clicked fine, but higher up than usual. This was happening at the title screen where I was goofing with the resolution while testing the script command, but when I loaded up a save or new game to verify, KOTOR 2 re-aligned everything.

It was my impression that due to the newer/modern hardware specs KOTOR 2 couldn't understand how to adjust or compensate or whatever directly with the monitor, especially with 1366x768, and would just crash from any resolution discrepancy. This experience, however, has shown that KOTOR 2 does possess an ability to realign using the mouse hardware data, so maybe a fullscreen fix could be coded based strictly on how KOTOR 2 identifies and corrects based on it's own graphics position and the position of the mouse on screen.

I really have no coding or programming experience, so does the mouse positioning process give absolutely no insight to the graphics to monitor processing process? It's my guess that the mouse positioning based adjustment is a fluke because it exists solely under the non-variable screen resolution parameters and isn't anything unusual/innovative/useable. :'''- (

btw flawlesswidescreen offered no fix

Huh. I noticed it will only resize the graphics if the 'Frame Buffer' option is set to 'on' . Otherwise it leaves the image squooshed at the bottom and a black bar where the title bar was.

And to recap: I posted this for the specific purpose of getting the word out, since this is more or less still an active workshop for KOTOR 2, instead of trying to find anyone with the skilz (and the time) on my own. Please and thank you.
