Maps not downloading?
Been playing KF1 for some time now and wanted to try some Workshop maps. I subscribed to a few and read on another discussion post that a notice will appear at the top right of the main menu that a new map was downloading. However, after starting and restarting several times I've never seen that notice and no new maps are in my map select in-game.

Am I doing something wrong or is the problem with the game? Any help is welcome.

Workshop downloads are glitchy, it's better to rely on a direct download and manually installing it - which is just a drag and drop into the maps folder(unless if it contains custom textures, sounds, static mshes, etc. Those go into the "textures" "sounds" "staticmeshes" etc. folders).

I see. Will probably look for a tutorial for that since my computer literacy is low and give that a try. I do have one last question, what are the best sites to download these maps from?

Manual download links of maps are usually within the description section if it's on the workshop. I'd also recommend the official Tripwire forums.
