Is it possible to edit the Fungal Farm to include a drop down to grow either fungus or algae?

I'm thinking a food and O2 producer type building. I know hydroponics towers is the obvious thing for algae, but I don't like growing algae instead of other obvious foods. Plus excess O2 from farms is wasted. I'd like an option to gather and store it, for use in other domes. Plus, if you zoom in and look at the insides of the fungal farm, it seems to basically be an aquaponics setup anyway...

And why isn't there fish in game? Aquaponics instead of hydroponics? The fungal farm would be the perfect place to do this.
