Workshop item location!
So I used total command to drag all the gro files inside the root SS Rev folder to fix the workshop sharade that's been happening for a while now.

The problem is, out of all the mods I have, the workshop ID folder had 20% of the files that were supposed to be in there. The rest are bin files and are missing the content within them.

So is there another location where workshop items are stored?
I'm starting to get confused how SS Rev uses workshop, because I used to have ♥♥♥♥ ton of mods laying on the game, and for some reason it appears half of them weren't even on the same location.

And no other location has the same workshop ID.
Any ideas?

EDIT: Found out what to do.
Rename the .bin extension to .gro.

Everything is working as it should.
Anyone that doesn't have workshop items working, find the ID folder starting with #2 as the first digit number, and copy all bin (rename them to gro, and gro files inside the root folder of SS Rev, that'll fix the workshop items for you.

You have to manually drag every item from the workshop content folder to get the mods to fully load.

That's about it ;) !

I can probably clear up some confusion here; when Revolution's workshop support first came out, it was using an older Steam system. Sometime later, Steam updated their workshop support with a newer API that changed the way the files are stored, which was implemented into Revolution as well. As a result, some older workshop files are .bin files instead of .gro files.

I think they should all load properly without having to manually copy them over to the game's folder, unless Croteam has changed something in the code, which they might have, seeing as this is a relatively new issue? I do believe it worked before, anyway..
