hi, (i hope somebody reads this)

My idea is to make a chest with 12 slots out of slurtle shell peices (so finally those things have a use)...but i don't know well where to start.
i'm skilled at drawing (and already have the open-closed chest drawn, an the modinfo.lua and modico.tex drawn), but the more i delve into modding and exploring other chest-related mods...the more i get lost.
anybody can help me mod? or direct me where to start?
bc the more i read the "Getting Started: Guides" from klei forums...the more overwhelmed i feel
