I uninstalled and reinstalled the game today. After the game files finished downloading and installing, right after that, it started downloading workshop items and I paused it because I forgot to unsubscribe from the workshop mods.

I then proceeded to unsub from all and restarted steam. When I go in game after this and join a server running default maps, it triggers a download of workshop items even after unsubscribing.

I closed the game and steam and went to steamapps/workshop/content as well as downloading and deleted the workshop items in 222880.

I open steam after this process and it still triggers a download of workshop items on client boot as well as while joining a server.
