I really miss some of the sounds from Vermintide 1. Specifically, Saltz's pistols. In VT2 they sound more "windy" and don't have that same "crack-a-tat-tap!" sound from the first game.

Is there a mod that can add options to replace some of the sound and dialog in VT2 with assets from the first game? I know a lot of people also don't like the elf's voice lines in the second game. Maybe the mod would also overwrite some of her dialog with her other lines.

If I were to do this myself, how would I go about modding sound in VT2? I don't necessarily need someone else to make this mod, even simple pointers to get started on it myself is something I'd be open to doing.
