Do the cars still show up on the workshop? Sometimes modders remove models to update them or they are unhappy with the quality of their older work. When a mod is removed from the workshop it will also be removed from your game.

I checked the workshop and its all there... but in game I checked the showroom and the workshop cars are gone.

Svensyn has decided to delete his mods...

I think the modder in question (Svensyn) must be blacklisted because this shows a great disregard for other peoples time and feelings.

I also had this pop up yesterday. I tried to unsubscribe the mods in question (Corvette C3 and C7) was dumbfounded that all Svensyn mods have vanished from the workshop.

The problem now is that they are still in the game and we need a way to remove them. I have the Corvette C2 still spawn after that, and I guess if I buy one they will again disappear from the game when I reload.

That means we need to keep a tab with all the Svensyn mods so I must not buy any of them or they will disappear.

Its probably necessary to manuall delete them if someone has the workshop ID or go into the workshop folder and look them up manually by looking at the thumbnail, which sucks of course.

Actually I dug a bit in the files and it seems the Corvette C2 (that I saw spawning after the Svensyn removal) was from another modder. So maybe disregard what I wrote about having to manually remove all of the Svenysn mods, it seems they are already removed by the game or Steam.

Yeah, I had a 2019 Raptor in game that I had just rebuilt, and was sitting in my shop. Then I came in, and it was missing... $200K truck gone without warning sucks...

This sucks, he had some nice mods that I liked

I lost a very powerful and expensive Drag Corvette that was one of his mods. It was one of the fastest cars I had. Could do almost 350 mph, it and his Raptor disappeared. I can live with the Raptor getting lost since I never worked on it but the Drag Corvette was a key car in my collection of over 36 cars.

I'm not too worried about the money since I have over $29 Million but it was still one of the fastest cars I owned.

This is nonsense, his mods would not disappear from Steam if he had something happening at home. Someone must have actively deleted them, so they were either stolen or he ragequit and pulled them, erasing countless hours of other peoples life.

I had two of his cars but not a big deal as I hadn't done much with them. If you were affected more severely, think about it as the risk of using mods. They are not the same as developer approved content, and such things are bound to happen.

I use 200 hundred workshops cars and expect this will happen more over time, as the mods break with new versions or disappear.
