The Automation Wiki has modding pages https://automation.gamepedia.com/Modding that explain how to do things and you can come on the official Automation Discord server to ask specific questions if you can't figure things out with just the wiki. If you want to make bodies, the modding section in the wiki has links to HardRooster's youtube video series that are great for learning that.
