Ok, with your 1 gb ram, TSW will struggle aggressively. But you should be able to get more than 20 fps on TS 2019 provided that your settings are on low. For Trainz, same deal as TSW. But, if you are willing to throw some money at your graphics card to upgrade it, then you will be able to crank up the settings.
No, I got 16 GB ram
1Ghz is the frequency of the GPU
Are you sure? Diesel railcar simulator is interesting in its way but TS 2019 is in a totally different league.
There is (was) a general consensus about TS providing the best gameplay experience, TSW the superior graphics with TANE having large amounts of content but many of it is basic (dated) however often long. (TRS19 and the TANE Deluxe routes look better.)
Purno has written a detailed review for TANE, worth a read.
I think it's great to have some market competition. Also as a player you come to learn the difficulties and come to accept the shortcomings better.
As far as I see there is little thematic conflict (countries, routes, trains) between the two games as far as the basic game goes. You can just as well pick both and enjoy the benefits of both. TANE is super cheap.
What surprises me is that while you are looking for a train simulator, you've apparently already ruled out Train Simulator (a.k.a. TS2019). Additionally, this *is* the forum for Train Simulator, so the people you're asking advice are playing the game you just ruled out. Steam says you do not own the game yourself, so that makes me think you didn't come to your conclusion by your own experience.
WHY did you rule out TS2019? I've played TANE, I've played TSW, but none of those I've enjoyed as much as I enjoyed good old Train Simulator. None of us here will claim it's perfect, but it may still be the best thing available on this niche market.
You seem to be saying this as if it's what we all think too...
