Most of the Mods removed

So after the latest update almost all of the mods I subscribed to were removed.... They were also removed from my workshop on this site... What hapened, how do you return them back?

Apparently steam messed up and set a handful of mods, across all games, to hidden. I don't think any of my AoE2 Mods were effected, but most of my old Darkest Dungeon were.

I do not think they were removed permanently, just set to hidden. I think all you can do is see which mods were effected and try to get a hold of the original author.
