how to disable advaned driving for UP 844

its been 2 years please someone help...

Use the HUD version (instead of the Adv version) and if you want to make it really easy, go to the game's settings menu, click on Gameplay and change the Train Controls to "Simple Controls" (works only with the "HUD" versions of the loco).

In the HUD versions, the loco's own specialised automatic fireman is permanently enabled. You can also enable it in the Adv version by clicking on the fireman's seat.
