in the book a single marine can use nuclear weapons as a standard arment so in other words it would make them capable of one hitting everything

yeah but its a nuke i mean it could be the stalemate ender but even then it was basicly a grenade to the mobile infantry

fair enough dune could be intresting i might see if i can round up a buddy of mine who makes the odd mod here and there and see if he would take a crack at it. (He is a medical student so i am not saying he will do it in a week or a good time span but if he is up for it he might get the coding for it done)

i am gonna pitch it as a few small mods to him so a mod for each group and family so its managable

Would be awesome to see bugs. Unfortunately this game was not created with "fauna creatures" in mind. Sure, you have the cool crab leg movements and everything, but you'll need a lot of scripting to make it feel like bugs are swarming you, and you'll need a very delicate balance achieved that won't work right for different skill levels and squad play (if available)

heh i mean you could go with the anime or the book versions of the books , dosnt the book bugs use laser weapons and starships?
