How to download mods
This should be a case of just subscribing to the mods you are interested in. The next time the game loads they should be installed and should appear in the mod manager.

Here's some extra tips though in case they aren't appearing for you:
  • If the game is running you may have to restart it.
  • Try Right click on Megaquarium in your Steam Library -> Properties -> Local files -> Verify integrity of game files.
  • Try restarting Steam.
  • Try restarting your PC.
  • If all else fails, find the game's log file:
Windows: C:\Users\<insert username>\AppData\LocalLow\Twice Circled\Megaquarium\output_log.txt
Mac: ~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log
Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Twice Circled/Megaquarium/Player.log

...and copy and paste it into a new discussion asking for help.

If the log is long, you may have trouble pasting it into a discussion. I recommend using a website like paste bin https://pastebin.com/. Go to this link and paste the contents of the log file into the text box. Click "Create New Paste". Then copy the new URL from your address bar and paste it into your new discussion.

Good luck!

Hi Demon Days, sorry to hear you're having trouble playing with a mod. Could you give a bit more information about your problem please? Does the game not run at all or does it stop on the loading screen?

A few suggestions:

1. What happens if you unsubscribe from the mod?

2. You could try: right click Megaquarium -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify integrity of game files

3. You could also try navigating to:

Windows:
C:\Users\<insert username>\Documents\My Games\Megaquarium\Mods

OSX:
Application Support/Megaquarium/Mods

Linux:
$XDG_DATA_HOME/.local/share/Megaquarium/Mods

And deleting all/some of the mod folders.

4. Also navigate to where the mods are downloaded inside your Steam installation folder e.g. : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\600480

This is the mod local cache. Delete all the folders inside here.
