Random Upgrade Challenge

So I was on the 17th level of titanium in this challenge, and I beat it with a clone left. Then, somehow, I get teleported into lava when the elevator goes down. I get the clone, (super annoyed by this cuz it was my 5th clone) and go back up, and its like the elevator never went down. all the enemies are still dead. So I go back down, get up to 20th level, and I get killed by the last jetpack bots on the level. I/ still super salty about this, because I was about to complete the challenge. Is there any way to report a elevator bug with this?

Oh dear, that sounds painful.

Was this in a workshop level or one of the levels that ships with the game?
Were you near the elevator when it happened or far away from it?

It was in the level with the purple hammer bot on a raptor, with the jump pads up the volcano with lava flows to the jumps. It was a regular leveI, and I was close to the elevator, heading back to it. Thank you!
