AI Behavior-Related Question

Hello, I've run into a barrier while working on a mod. (Hint, it's some type of overhaul).

Basically, while I can change the speed/aggression/personality of the racing AI by modifying the .vaip files, I can not change the speed settings on the .vaip files I'm using for derby AI drivers. No matter what, they act the same. I'm trying to make the derby-only AI drivers slower, therefore making the derbies longer and more realistic.

Any tips?

Think you will have to alter the AI profiles, located under the vehicle (and then car type) folder. There you can alter their max throttle values and such. Please keep in mind that it is a bit lacking atm, as a loot of the AI parameters are in the global AI file, which we don't have access to edit yet. Fingers crossed for a change in this in future.

Yes, having access to those files would be great!

Hmm, right now in one file under ai\profiles\ I have 'Throttle Limit' to 0.001. While that's applied in races, in the derby mode the drivers drive just as fast as they did previously.
