So I tried getting some custom levels for Hotline 2, specifically the Hunter series and Human Bean 2. After being unable to get the music files to work properly, I decided not to continue getting mods and to just focus on S ranking the whole game. Well, after an update to Hotline 2 a few days ago, the game launched like I had properly installed the Hunter: Snowfall mod. Despite deleting the .wad file for it. And not having it in my HLM2 steam folder.

Even today, it still launches as though that mod is installed despite having re-validated my files, re-validated my files after deleting the entire folder, and re-installing Steam entirely. I have no idea what to do.
