Concerns about saving a skin?

So i mad emy first skin ever, and followed all the instructions. But when i go to save the skin, it gives me a pop up saying:

'The following packages have references to external packages:
*The name of my custom skin package*

External packages won't be found when in a game and all references will be broken.
Proceed?'

What does this mean, and how can i save my file without breaking the game?? Also, when in playview of SDK, how to do you stop the playview? i tried doing the exit game thing but that just pauses it..

did you export the only package containing the skin to somewhere else? if so, the only tex of the skin is gone from sdk since you moved it out of sdk. all it is going to do (if you proceed) is to replace the skin with default skin. in order to save it without causing this, create a package that you won't move anywhere out of sdk and make sure all posed critters have the texture and mi from that very package and save it to sdk.

f7 and type quit
