MightyScript: patrols vs. rally
An interesting thing you can try is using the action "castspell" to cast "rally" somewhere on the map via script and all the units from that faction will move to that spot. You can cast "add to warband" but you can't define the warband (or peaceband), nor can you define which warband you rally (I assume it is rally all).

I noticed if you use rally instead of a patrol, units path/move more effectively and get stuck less, even when patrol idle time is 0. It is an odd behaviour.

What I use rally for is units spawning from a gateway that I want to attack the player (instead of creating a patrol with a single node @ the player's heart). I found that the difference between rally @ heart vs. patrol @ heart was a much quicker response from the units. They also spawn from the gateway right at the front, versus all over the gateway when a patrol is used. You have to try it yourself to see the different.
