I´ve deleted a lot of submissions the past two days. I´ve only deleted submissions where user-generated content was used without giving credits to the original author. If you use a custom model to upload a new paintjob you distribute it as your own work if you don´t credit the original author.
Besides that I´ve told with every ban why the model was banned and what´s the problem with the upload. Your upload wouldn´t have been banned if the original author of the mod is given and in the best case if a link to the original work would be distributed.
If you wonder why it was banned because it´s a upload which is already several days, weeks or even years old: I´m only active as workshop admin since a short time. The Workshop admins, which have been active before didn´t have the time to check the Workshop manually. Before that only reported items have been checked and maybe deleted.
Sincerely,
Raffi_M
If you show me a screenshot of your submission I can tell you for sure what´s the reason of deletion. Feel free to add me if you don´t want to post a screenshot here!
If you do want to inform users I'd suggest using the Private Developer Comments tab, only the uploader and workshop mods/admins can see what was posted there.
I'm sure the ban was justified, I only upload to the TF2, Gmod, and SFM workshop now anyway.
