Hi Keen would need to add the bow stance Still and bow stance Pull. There is a way to alter the handposition and such but lots of coding would need to be done. Also there is the first person veiw, aim, running jumping. All these would have to be a factor. More and likely the Dev team will have to add this. This would take a modder way to long to do by himself.

Hmm... I might be being daft here, but why is first person view an issue? Given the game looks to me to be locked into first person. Fair points on stancing and whatnot, though I've seen more complicated mods in other games.

Well I looked at the Crossbow data and it might actually be possible. I will look further into this but this would take lots of time to perfect to look and feel realistic.then not everything looks the same for a person looking at the player shooting, the positioning might look good for the player in first person but to another player looking at the player he looks like a dumb ass hehe. I have a bow I made in the past but this was before i understood the animation and subparts. I will give it another try.

Very good point... that puts me in mind of the initial implementations of the bow in 7 Days to Die. It was pretty dysfunctional to start with >,< I appreciate the effort, and I'm sure I won't be the only one if you push through with it. Thank you sir!
