Mod Pack - Suggestions and Opinions?
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1296235635]This is my pack. I try to keep everything lore/style friendly. So far I've changed various items and entities in small/visually pleasing ways. Sometimes however, I get the artist's equivalent of writer's block.

For example, what would you do for something generic like a strength or defense ring? What color should quartz actually be? That sort of opaque clear with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ yellow edges? I'd love to know what you all think and have to say. If you have suggestions or just things you think don't "feel" right bring them up too, you might have something on your mind that I'd never think of.

Strength Ring should have a hammer on it like the strength charm does, and Defense Ring should either have the same shield as the Protect Charm or should have a helmet on it. Or, if you're feeling adventurous, maybe Strength Ring should be brass knuckles and shield ring should be a police nightstick.

Quartz comes in all colors, which is why I think they used Rose Quartz. Personally, though, I can't stand that armor. I had a thought I was going to use myself to replace it (that I'm holding onto because I'm going to put it in my mod) but along the same lines you could replace it with something else altogether. Like... a dog trainer's uniform with all that padding? It does, after all, reduce all damage to 1 or less.

Any ideas for a glass staff? I already have something for obsidian but I can't think of a decent design for the glass sprite.

Oops, I said hammer and I meant anvil. Hahaha.

As for a glass staff, have you ever watched a glass blower before? As they push the air into the end of the molten glob it puffs up like an orb. You could do something like that--a thin tube and an orb. The end could even be glowing bright orange like it's still hot.

Can't really make it clear that's what it is. I might just have to go the route I did for the glass torch and make the major parts thinner and glass while the frame is still technically wood.

Saw your Obsidian Staff (the one with the eyeball) and that's the shape I was picturing. The stage two version, except clear in the middle instead of the eye (maybe with a few white pixels to show the light refracting off the glass) would work.

I know that steps on your toes a bit with the Obsidian Staff, but you could elaborate on that one's features by widening parts of the handle... particularly where the handle meets the eye gem.

EDIT: Another thought. If the glass orb doesn't work, you could base a staff on the Freeze Charm. It has a precedent of breaking on hit, and the fractal snowflake is itself a fragile idea, shattering or melting on a whim.

Working on more detailed weapons now. Having a hard time deciding how to handle rapiers, they're already beautiful sprites as they are. Anyone have thoughts?
