Report a translation problem
Numbering gates sounds great on paper but in reality does not work (we tried). Tracks in Liftoff are not always linear and as a result might be more confusing than helpful. However we do agree that it's sometimes hard to identify the track elements in the race editor. In our rack builder revamp, we'll be merging the Track and Race tools together, making it much easier to see things as they are.
That's planned for the track builder revamp we're currently working on.
As mentioned above, since we are merging the Race editor with the Track builder things will be very different to that regard. You'll be able to pick between the overview, or a free camera view within the virtual world to link track elements into a Race.
I don't think your post got delete (not that I'm aware of), but we did move it to the right subforum called "Workshop & User Content". I'll be moving this topic to the subforum too, but I'll keep a link in the main forum for some time, just to make sure you see it ;)

It was one of the first things I tried to do in the editor, as I noticed a lot of the built in races are very 1 dimentional.
