Is there a way to change body shape with armor for a mod?
I am currently making a Darling in the franxx inspired mod called Crypt of the Darling and I am wondering if it is possible to be able to change the body shape with armor without having the character popping out from behind. This would allow me to make the Franxx into armor and add 002's hat to her white uniform.

Yeah, you can even completely change the appearance of the character for various armors. The tilesheet has one row for each armor you can equip and--provided you don't go too big--you can pretty much do whatever you want.

If you want armors to change headgear, you need to include the head on the body png and then make the head file completely transparent. The only feature that doing so will impact is the head portrait in co-op, which isn't really all that necessary.

The workshop mod "Crypt of the Teen Titans" plays with this a lot.

Thanks I'll look into that mod to get an idea on how to do it
