I have an idea for a mod for Game Dev Tycoon, but I'm not able to make a mod myself. If anyone would like to try it, my idea is to be able to make games based off of movies. Basically, it would work like publishing deals. You get a certain amount of movies to base your game off of, but the game could be any type you pick. It's up to the player to decide what type of game it would be, for example, a Detective game for Dirty Harry would work, but Comedy for Saving Private Ryan wouldn't. I was inspired by the 1990 NES game Dirty Harry actually. While making a movie based game could be risky, it would also be a great money maker, with royalties much higher than that of a publishing deal.
