So, I've been mapping for two years so-far. However, i've just started with insurgency. It is a game I fell in love with very quickly. I was double exited when I found out it was a source game, because Hammer.
Now, that I got that info out, time for the issue. this issue is in regards of the lighting.
when I set up lighting the way a normal source game would take it (Cubemap, light_enviorment). I also used the light_directional and shadow_control. after that, i compile the map and....
Chrome and shiny guns... this removes any immersion that comes from a good map.
please, help. this is very annoying.
