The state of the workshop...
I have to say that the state of the Planet Coaster workshop is horrible, but it's not the items, it's the community... I spent four months on a project that I was super happy with but as soon as it hit the frontage of the workshop it gets 5 down votes from people who want their stuff to be higher up. The community is toxic as anything and I wouldn't advise joining it as it will beat you down with these sore losers that are littered around the community and this isn't an isolate problem, it happens to everyone.

I wouldnt take it to heart. The workshop gets so many uploads that items just vanish before they are even seen at times. You must make sure to add key words in the titles and tags etc of the items you post to assist in search results when people go looking for something show it shows up. Also if the steam data base numbers are correct, you only ever have around 2000-3000 people playing over a 24 hour period worldwide, so the number of eyes actually viewing the workshop when you post something also plays apart, as well if a youtube channel showcases the item or frontier does the same as that will bring traffic to what you made. The community has few people that are toxic but id say thats over on the offical forums, where sneezing can get you attacked. I had a look at the workshop items you posted and they are really good, so well done. I shall sub to follow ya progress. Feel free to see the few ive uploaded.

The only thing the community do wrong is the use of tags.
When I found a nice coaster blueprint I don't want to find it under park entrances in-game.

Your Star Wars stuff is nice. Good set of starting scenery for anyone wanting to make a Star Wars themed land.

It's unfortunate that popularity systems like the workshop are so sensitive to early feedback. But no matter how you set the rules there will always be a few people that find ways to game the system.

Edit: Your SW dark coaster ride looks awesome. Reminds me of the Alien ride https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ca3eYxZedD4
