Are there Online Players?

Hi, I just bought this game for my channel, I looked at another discussion and it didn't help. The issue is that whenever I go on it won't let e play any rounds, is there a way to play online with online players like in battlefront, roblox, and minecraft, just examples

yeah i have that issue too the thing is you need to be friends with someone and join their game or have them join yours in order to play

Is there a chance that online matchmaking will be added in the future? I recently got the game as well, and I only know two people who play it and they didn't seem very interested in playing
