Impressive. I had the same idea a while ago, but adding lots of repelling magnets only made my drones either break up or get repelled instead, so I gave up.

Yea I found the trick is to offset with attractive magnets with low range so they counter the massive stress of the push on your ship while offering that amazing UMPH to the opposing drone. I am very happy with this drones results. Even drones that beat it tend to lose on round 2 or 3 on a rematch. Not sure where the RNG plays in here but it definatly exists since I have had close matches where the outcome changes from match to match against the same build. Yeah, I figured it's why you used attracting magnets. And yes, the game isn't deterministic, so that's why the same battles can result in different outcomes.

ingenious design. i am currently reverse engineering it. mine does completely differerent things right now. i like the part that you boosted your control center away. that is some next level ♥♥♥♥ right there.
