The absolute most frustrating part of this game is starting a new file, buying upgrades, and then trying to sort and order them - either in the order given on the purchase side, or a more convenient personal choice. Either way, it becomes a nightmare as soon as I play any mod that has an extensive list of ship parts.
I could complain about this all day (especially after, having spent the past several hours sorting the upgrades manually (dealing with a bug that force me to exit the menu because it randomly picks a piece I already moved, instead of the one I'm clicking on, to move), only to have the game crash. With no convenient saving methods in sight, all that time spent agonizing over simply organizing a menu of ship upgrades is gone. I almost hurt myself in the sudden moment of rage/loss.
So, I would humbly (and with much frustration) like to request that some angel somewhere at least come up with a sorting function that copies the purchase menu order over to the purchased menu. (If anyone is particularly benevolent, grant us ways to sort by category?)
