I don't have much time right now, but:
- Align: Moves the objects to the min/max bounds along an axis.
Example: Align Left moves all objects so their leftmost edge line up
- Distribute: Spaces the objects out either vertically or horizontally.
Example: You place a bunch of spike traps on the ground. Distribute Horizontal makes the space between each one an equal distance.
- Chain: Arranges the objects so that their edges touch in a line along one axis.
Example: You want a wedge to share an edge with a platform. Select both, then chain them in such a way that the platform does not move, but the wedge flies to it. If you Chain Right for example the rightmost object does not move, but the other objects line up to form a chain to it.
Should probably make a video about it at some point.
edit: ok, now i get it :) thanks!
edit: easy UNDO, after saving level, select another level and the go back ( 1 extra click but I can live with that :P)
