Report a translation problem
You can make them invincible by forging an armor with +20 damage reduction. The henchmens in the original game though will disappear so you have to take it off of them before you level up to put it back on them.
For example, you can hear some enemies in a room ahead. Tell the party to Stand Your Ground. Scout ahead. Lots of enemies in the room but they haven't seen you yet. Tell the party to Follow, then Stand Your Ground in the doorway to bottleneck the fight. Fire a ranged weapon into the enemies to provoke them into attacking at the doorway. Switch to melee weapon but wait until the enemy reach the doorway before ordering party to Attack Nearest.
Companions are dumb, but monsters are dumber, you just have to work the room.
