Help with AI Recruitment for Custom Scenario
Hello, I’m looking for any insight, ideas, or experience the community can offer. I’ve been working on a couple scenarios about the emperor Heraclius and Sassanian Persia. Part of what I think is interesting and most fun to recreate is the diversity of the peoples involved. The Romans the Huns, the Turks, the Alan’s, the Persians and Sogdians. I want to capture this as much as I can. Other people have made multiplayer maps where unit recruitment is possible, and so can get how that works. I have used medieval warfare’s reckon to make many ‘unique units’ for my maps, but I’m wondering if there is some trigger chain simple ‘ai’ that can cause the computer to recruit certain trigger modded unique units at certain times without having to create some event specific loop (based hopefully on priority, but that might take full ai)? I’d like to get the ai to play as if it were diplomacy where certain targets have priority to it but without being triggered to attack point A necessarily. Here’s hoping that makes sense firstly, and then that this will solicit some great ideas!
