Realism?
What are the most realistic and game changeing mods in this workshop? I'm looking for something that will make game even harder and at the same time better in terms of realistic society.

The AI can't really be touched for how people behave.

You could try 1 year is 1 year (the more recent version, published after mid-2017, older one is buggy) for more realistic slow aging and progress.

If you want some extra harshness, I'd recommend grabbing Tom Sawyer's "The North 7" at https://www.banishedventures.com (I'm not sure he uploaded it on Steam, I haven't checked.)

I just had a look, he has North 6.2 on the workshop. You can try that one and get familiar with it, then give the new version a try. North 7 even has the slow aging thing by default.
