Hi,

I´m asking myself, why the camera angles on most racing games are so uncreative. For example, there could be a high flying bird-view exactly above the car and you had a micro-machines feeling or other 2D racing games from above.
Also a isometric view like the good old rock-roll-racing (SNES) or old RPGs would be nice. You could give the game a new feeling, when you already played in the standard camera positions.

The only reason could be the performance. Maybe an experienced modder would like to experiment with a mod with this new view angles?

Also...is there a way to disable textures? A low-poly variant? only wireframes?
Wireframe-destruction-racing games...thats what we need! :-)
