How to use a mod?
So, I subscribed to some mods in the workshop. How do I get the mods to work in the game? Other games generally have a screen where I would choose which mods that I want activated or not. I can't seem to find that with this game.

When you start the game you end up in the AoW3Launcher, where you: log in, change settings, etc.
There's a 'User Content' tab in the launcher. There you can activate, de-active and update mods. Its also where you can launch the mod tools, if you are so inclined.

Thank you. I never thought to look in the launcher. Much appreciated.

Hello, I'm sorry to highjack your thread but you are right on the point I'd need a confirmation about. A yellow exclamation mark is displayed on the User Content tab whenever an update is available. Now, is there a mean to now what mod(s) is(are) to be updated if I hit the Update button? I would have appreciated (because of working on some mods) that an exclamation mark is displayed at the beginning or the end of any listed mod, that is scheduled to be updated.

If this is not because of a Steam contingency, but only a launcher thing, you could take this as a QoL request for your next games! (now, the workaround is easy: keeping a renamed duplicata of all working files in the mod's directory)

No, I don't think there is.

Can you tell me how you'd plan to use this?[/quote]
