Exporting Models for 3D Printing

First of all, I want to commemorate the modellers and artists who made the fantastic style a reality in the warhammer world. I just wanted to ask however, if there is a way to export models to a 3D modelling program to make them into STL files for 3D Printing and cosplay purposes?
