So I was trying to poke around and maybe work on a mod character of my own, but it turns out, unlike the last game I tried (and failed) this with, this game keeps it stuff encoded in like, .jars rather than just as a collection of text and image files in a folder.

No biggie, thought I, get me some jEdit and... Oh, it can't autodetect what encode the .jars are so I'm seeing 85% gibberish. That's no good.

And so I am here. Obviously people manage to work with these things, what's the encode/proper editer/w/e for 'em?
