Is there a mod that would the color better?

Cyan/green are trick colors in my screen. It looks too similar to green. The map even confuses the two.

This isn't exactly what you're asking for, but you can use Team Colors if some colors are difficult to see. These colors make you blue, allies yellow, neutral players gray, and enemies red. The default hotkey to toggle them on/off is Alt+G.
