I know that there is a mod called observer mode, but it's not what I'm looking for. I'm too old for action and enjoy this game much more as a laid back strategy game by staying in the buy menu the whole time switching between units to look how plans unfold but mostly not thanks to ai and it's pretty funny.

But buy menu takes up a quarter of the screen and you can't give orders to your units without having to return to the menu before ai takes over again.

Is there any mod or does anyone know how this could be accomplished ? Thx.
