Workshop items available date?

Hi all,

i was wondering if it is possible and if anyone has had success editing the available date for workshop items, specifically certain roads or scenic items? I know there is a mod for unlocking everything from 1850, but ideally I would like to lock the available date of vehicles and only access the scenic stuff from 1850. One potential issue i see with doing it all manually, (if it's possible,) is that when a mod is updated, it wil reset the available date and possibly break the save game. As I am planning to start my youtube 1;1 series this weekend, game stability is all important.

You can always make a copy that never updates of any mod.

Yes it's absolutely possible to update the availability date of a mod here is one I did earlier , now 1976 onwards previously 2010 onwards. I don't see that changing this date (say by a change in the mod) would break the savegame though it would be easy to test.
