Setting per-instance sound opvars
Is there any way to set the values of operator variables for individual playing instances of soundevents, either from Hammer or script?

Both the available entities and VScript functions seem to change the value globally, but particle effects and sounds run from code seem to be able to change them on an individual basis.

If not, is there any other way of changing the volume or pitch of a sound dynamically, apart from using a particle effect?
