Insurgency is the most visceral shooter I've ever played. For whatever reason, I'm curious to test if the game would be a satisfying if it were significantly abstracted- What would it be like to play a classic map with all middle eastern motifs and textures removed, and character models changed so that the teams wouldn't be insurgents/security but something like red/blue? I've already done some searching, but had no luck. Are there any mods on here like that? If I had the spare time and know how to develop a mod like that, I would do it myself. I thought I would mention it in case the idea intrigues anyone here who has talent.
