any part any faction
is there a way to play as a sort of "all in one" faction? i know about the reassembler faction mod but im after something more flexible. im after something that can use ANY part for ANY faction, including modded stuff. i know such a thing is totally OP and many have said on similar queries that "you dont need to; theres no point; just play like the rest of us... blah blah blah". but never a clear answer. the game uses lua for all the stuff and the blocks get load into memory and everything so they are THERE, i just want a thing that overrides the "group" filtering so that all blocks show up in the pallet/upgrade screen. i tried doing it myself by merging two "blocks.lua" together but it was a "caveman with a calculator" type of attempt as i have functionally zero programming knowledge.

sorry. i rambled a bit there.... so, yeh, any way to do that in the singleplayer campaign game?
i CAN do the things by myself if someone tells me what to do but with no programming know how it would need to be step by step

reassembler is currently the best bet for your needs, as you'd have to replicate every mod you wish to be compatible with, and all their files, into this "mega reassembler" mod.

clear explanation:
mods have no control over the upgrade screen, so one would have to create a very big blocks.lua, faction.lua, and region.lua file containing the blocks from the mods in the steam workshop. which is a daunting task as a lot of old mods especially either don't work or have identical faction/block IDs to other mods. you'd have to sort through... the entire reassembly workshop, and correct most errors to create a mod functional in level to reassembler.

basically impossible.
