Request Vaklu PC head
Tried attaching this to my game but it seems without being part of the steam workshop it does not install properly...

You need to point the installer to the Steam game folder or to Steam's TSLRCM's workshop folder if you're using that (same for TSLRCM+M4-78).

where might that be? I pointed the installer to the SWKOTOR.exe and it doesn't work

For Steam's TSLRCM it should be something like:
[drive]:\[steamfolder]\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\208580\485537937
