Mein Name ist Kay und spiele TPF in einem Modus, den wir in deutsch „Schönbau“ nennen. Dabei versuchen wir, das Land bis in viele kleine Details so real wie möglich nachzugestalten (die meisten Gebäude, Straßen, Gärten, Zäune ect.). Dazu benötigt man Karten, die möglichst das Gebiet 1:1 darstellen. Gleichzeitig sollen natürlich die Fahrzeuge der Modder einen möglichst realen Betrieb auf der Karte zeigen. Städte und Industrien setzen wir Spieler meist aus diversen Einzelteilen selbst.
Ein Profi ist zum Beispiel Hans Dampf, zu sehen bei youtube. Meine Projekte (die Städte Leipzig und Dresden in Deutschland) sind nicht so professionell geworden. Zur Zeit bastle ich aus Mangel an alternativen Karten für TPF an einer Anlage der Stadt Vancouver (map Fraser Valley von gitbiz).
Ich habe einige Ideen für Karten, die eine ansehnliche Landschaft zeigen und auf denen sich viele Fahrzeuge von Moddern einsetzen lassen. Es wäre super wenn sich jemand die Ideen anschauen könnte, und ich würde mich riesig freuen wenn sich dann vielleicht auch noch eine der Ideen zu einer Karte mit 8k umsetzen lassen könnte.
