Well it dies use the U3 engine, so getting the assets could work (with some tweaking).
However getting the rights to use said assets would be a different matter.

Yeah it's a great idea but as cannonfodder posted it all hinges on getting official permission from the developers of kf2 to use there assets as well as written consent to legally rip the assets from thier game
Then even if they said yes along comes another major setback=learning how to be an actual game developer to be able to port and modify said content to be compatible with with VCD
Which requires a hell of alot reverse engineering and custom asset creation from scratch with no tutorial
I've never played kf2 I'm sure it a cool game that would be a match made in heaven if merged with VCD
I'm looking at purchasing a spiffy new fancy super high powered PC in a few weeks let's hope it includes some kind of fandandangled warp drive that has a mycelium jump drive that can tear apart the space time continuum in which a Domestabot can manipulate the warp core while the Terminator robot can merge with alien DNA to create a paradox in which the Borg get assimilated by human AI that in turn can harness the energy of the supermassive black hole in the centre of the universe to power up the Dyson sphere which powers the teleporters in core sample that controls the gravity in gravity drive as well as just enough power to open a wormhole via the Stargate with a little help from dr Janitor after he regenerates inside the TARDIS after creating an alliance with the Daleks and hacking into the hive Mind of the Cybermen:)
Muhwahaha=lol all while playing VCD in VR when such support isn't available yet I can play VCD in VR and have already done so=looks amazing too:)

If one day the Devs of kf2 say yes (don't hold ya breath)
I do know how to merge such assets into VCD as the kind amazing Devs of VCD gave me permission to use the content from Rooks Keep to create Temple of Death as a kind of unofficial DLC in which full credit goes to RuneStorm=Amassive thanks to BlackEagle DarkCarnivore and esp Shadowblade as I guess Arn created the models for RK
One must have respect for Developers to be able to share such a creation as not to steal ya toothbrush so to speak unlike what happened with the Garry's mod Santa's rampage map!!!
So yeah nice idea but getting permission is like winning the lottery=not likely to happen anytime soon lol!

On the other hand when I get my fingers on the New PC above it will be time to create a rift in space janitorial time hook up the flux capacitor and go back to the future create a paradox and jump start the warp core into overdrive to create a VCD super map using nothing but VCD default assets to create say a kf2 alternative dimension in which the bodies in kf2 are VCD bodies
Nah I have other plans for VCD as priority in which are the following=
Honey I shrunk the Janitor
Alien ice reactor as in 1990's Total recall=yes the janitor can fly to mars from earth and yep ya can start the reactor:)
The philidelphia experiment with Nikola Tesla and Einstein reference in which the janitor can litteraly use top secret technology to go for a ride through time
Perhaps a total remake of the vulcan DLC in which one can launch the missile as instead of the lair being shut down it is fully active so one can ride the nuke and see Yellowstone explode in super eruption then the base personal relocate to mars via Uranus strip some plasma from the sun in the delta quadrant hook up a cat 5 cable into Jupiter and set fire to VCD workshop mod support but only if me being a janitor sitting at my antiquated office desk in front of my bitterman 500 bite ya Apple PC running windows 26.3.4.9 year 7019 holographic edition then yes I can make a remake of the DLC but only if BlackEagle says yes for me to be able to create a super crazy backwards edition of the vulcan DLC in which everything is Lethal=but only if the vcd Devs make Santa's shotgun into a working gun so I can shoot myself and take revenge on player 2 for spilling my bucket???

After I buy planet coaster I will create a working parody of that in VCD=I wonder how rollercoaster can handle the transport of garbage as well as Janitors with a few gaps in the train tracks?
A few other maps I have planned but with work and time off as a rarity all that stuff could take quite a few months or even years to make but eventually something will happen but as always even if it on paper it never goes as planned and gets spat out as some kind of Picasso painting merged with the Hoh last supper painting vs lit dynamite=just like getting a weapon from the boxes in Mario kart 64 while being sucked into a black hole and returning to earth in a Delorean that is powered by a quantum bin machine:)
Lol I'm pretty busy so it be quite a while before I release any kind of new workshop maps but eventually I will make something=burns the plan on paper as winging it with the level editor works better than toilet paper notes:)
No idea how to make a map=eeenie meeny Miny Moe's tavern=ya never know what it looks like until ya build it=malfunction=oh cool it works=hmmmm only one way to find out is try!
Perhaps look at BlackEagle's level creation guide if you want to make a kf2 alternative map without using any content from that game
You know that default VCD assets make for really cool hd Doom textures without using anything from Doom but it looks like Doom=perplexing aye:)

Ah a funny story=have a good laugh grab a Mop and go clean up somewhere in between the 3rd and 6th dimension but just hope the spore drive still works as well as the cryosleep incinerator???
I wonder how a domestabot would handle the host's in EastWorld but instead of bio robot so it's alien DNA as humans are the host's and not the park guests but they don't even know who's who until a massacre happens in the host creation laboratory while a rogue domestabot takes control of the host's in the central anti gravity control room via a bitterman 3000 flatscreen edition PC with ewplay networking which is prone to contains crashes after bugrosoft released too many bindows updates in bugtows 10 which was created by an mutant ant colony but going outside to the outhouse I don't know how but when I flush the toilet it works way better than bindows 10 does=it actually works instead of crashing while sewer surfing as a talking cockroach with a mop but only after the janitor cleaned Joe's Apartment??
